Jurassic World has made a bit of money for itself, or so we have been told. Obviously, the world has been quite receptive to the newest installment in the Jurassic Park series, and this has also created a massive resurgence of nostalgia for the original Stephen Spielberg film. These days, nostalgia is a huge selling point for millennials, and nothing can assure a nostalgia overload like mixing Jurassic Park and LEGO toys. So over at the LEGO Ideas page, a user named LDiEgo has offered up a hypothetical playset based on a key location in the original Jurassic Park film. The Jurassic Park Lego Visitor Center doesn’t look like much initially, but it is actually a lot more than it seems.
After detaching part of the roof and sliding certain sections out, the Visitor Center reveals multiple areas that all played crucial parts in the events of the movie. Such areas include the main lobby with the famous “When Dinosaurs Ruled The Earth” banner and dino skeletons, the command center for the park, the V.I.P. dining room, the Les Gigantes Restaurant and gift shop, the restaurant kitchen, the laboratory/hatchery and info theater, as well as the cold embryo storage facility. All of these monumental moments are collected into one playset that would also come with several of it’s own mini-figures. The mini-figures would include Tim and Lex, John Hammond, Donald Gennero (the lawyer), Raymond Arnold (Sam Jackson), and Robert Muldoon (the game warden). The set would also include a cast figure of the “Clever Girl” raptor that did Muldoon in before terrorizing the children.
At the moment, this amazing playset is only a dream, but it could be a reality if it gets enough votes for it on LEGO Ideas. So, if you could see yourself buying this set…for your kids, totally for your kids…then head over to the site and put in a vote. Also be sure to let us know what you think of the set in the comments below!
