IT’s Pennywise is Way More Terrifying as a Toddler

Well, we hope you’re content with the amount of sleep you’ve had thus far because you’ll never rest easy again after seeing a toddler dressed up as Pennywise the Clown from Stephen King’s IT.

These horrifying photos were brought to us by a recent post on Mashable, taken by Mississippi teen Eagan Tilghman. The tiny terrifying tot is Tilghman’s younger brother, Louie, who is a dead-ringer for the new version of Pennywise The Dancing Clown (played by Bill Skarsgård in the upcoming IT remake hitting theaters on September 8).

Not only is little Louie awesome for looking this menacing without a care in the world, we give props to Eagan for being able to wrangle a toddler for any amount of time. Imagine trying to get your kid to do this on family picture day (assuming you have a weird, spooky family).

Louie in the Pennywise makeup would be scary enough, but the rustic settings of the photos perfectly contrast the bright colors of his getup. We’re very glad they didn’t try and recreate the graveyard scene from the original, because this watery one is more than enough to fuel our nightmares for years to come.

We hope this is a proof of concept for Louie to play a messed up younger version of Pennywise in some sort of IT sequel or spin-off. Perhaps IT: Daycare?

What do you think of Eagan and Louie’s photos? Let’s discuss (or form an anxiety support group) in the comments below.
