Remember when the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles formed a band and went on a tour presented by Pizza Hut? Stop lying, yes, you do. The hair band vibe of the “Coming Out of Their Shells Tour” was pretty freaking epic, but one of the gems of the album was actually Splinter’s contribution, “Skipping Stones.” Looking back now, though, the song, video and performance are all gloriously ’90’s cheese, but back then, this song was our Bon Jovi. Remember kids, the rings of the puddle are what you put out into the world, a Splinter precursor to “Don’t be a dick.”
