“I’m With Coco” Rally Monday in L.A.

conan03

Sure, Conan’s probably going to leave NBC with 25-40 million dollars while Jay snatches back “The Tonight Show,” but that doesn’t mean you can’t show you’re support for a guy who was the strongest and most innovative voice for brainy comedy nerds in the latenight landscape! Mike Mitchell, the artist responsible for the now iconic “I’m With Coco” image above will be on hand to accept your hugs and praise.

“But, Chris Hardwick, how can I justify rallying for a rich white guy when an impoverished country like Haiti has been destroyed?” Excellent question! The double duty of the rally will be to collect donations for Haitian relief, as the Red Cross will be on hand to do so. Bring whatever you can spare!

Fans are encouraged to dress as your favorite Late Night characters: the pyloric sphincter, Camel Toe Annie, or even Coco himself. Or just wear orange.

  1. i kinda wished i lived in L.A.

  2. Kiko says:

Ironically, the brainy nerd misspelled, or rather misused “you’re.” But I still love ya. (I’m a word nerd)

  3. L says:

Also, I hope Preparation H Raymond makes an appearance.

  4. L says:

Aww! I’m seriously jealous I can’t be there to shout angrily with people who love Conan as much as I do. AND they’re raising more money for Haiti relief. It’s awesome.

Also, way to go Chris. Even NBC actors have taken sides. Who out there can honestly say “Poor Leno”?

  5. Deltus says:

    I’ll be there en spiritus.

  6. Sally says:

If I didn’t have to work all day, I’d be getting in my car to leave for this right now.
    Go Team Conan!

  7. scott says:

Hope to see a massive sea of Orange today! Go Conan!
NBC and the chimps running the network (no offense to monkeys!) need to pay dearly for the mess they’ve made of the network. Hoping Conan get’s every penny out of them and then takes his advertising dollars along with him. Corporate heads are the ones that need to start rolling next! (and yes, I’m still upset over the whole “SyFy” name change thing too…) Jay will pay with the continued low ratings that will suffer along with him to the later hour. Way to destroy your legacy….Good luck to Conan and all of his staff! Wishing you all well – you’re going to be better off in the long run!

  8. Kip Cricket says:

Leno has been piling on the lies and hypocrisy!

Too many are buying into NBC’s PR machine which has every intention of rewriting history!

Don’t be swayed, check out the following link to read of Leno’s deceit:

  9. Bryan Cook says:

Did Snarkmonger intentionally misspell my name? If so, kudos for the subtle irony. If not, kudos for the subtle hypocrisy!

  10. Rango Stirr says:

Here’s something for you to sing while you tell NBC that they suck!
I give you, The Ballad of Conan O’Brien (Conan’s Getting Screwed!)

  11. Snarkmonger says:

    My sentiment’s exactly, Brian. ๐Ÿ˜€

  12. Anita says:

I will also be there is spirit but have been spreading the word as much as I can on Facebook and signing petitions.

  13. Bryan Cook says:

Show youโ€™re support! Your going to regret it if yore knot their!

  14. I will be there in spirit. Minnesota is a little far to even carpool from.

I love Conan and he’s getting the shaft and the nerds of the world need to stand up for our own. Bottom line is that he’s going to be back on TV, probably on FOX and that will be a good thing. He’ll have absolute free reign on a network like that, and it will be funnier than ever. NBC just needs to play nice and let him go so he can get back to work entertaining us.

P.S. I am glad you enjoyed your stay here in Minnesota, come back any time and visit. We loved having you!
