I Love My Big Gay Dog!!!

I’ve never seen my dog Scott go cuckoo bananas over another dog in quite this way, but the other night he got a little obsessive with Jesse, a visting canine. I’m usually not a sucker for animal vids, but this never-ending mouth bath is dang adorable (NSFW alert at 1:31). Even though they’re both dudes and dogs, I can only imagine that Scott would want to make love in the missionary position (or, “people style”, as dogs call it) so that he could look into Jesse’s eyes the whole time.

Scott’s here! He’s queer! And I’m used to it!!!

I love my big gay dog.

what I’m most impressed by is two dogs ignoring plates of cookies.

  2. Jazz says:

I think Jesse was into it. Saw how he turned over all relaxed like? Who could resist the adorable Scott? So adorable.

  3. QueenGeekKeri says:

Poor Scott was giving all his love & getting none back. I’m sure he appreciates you putting his humiliating rejection up for all to see.

  4. BSnow says:

Aw, so cute! What good dogs!

I’m really impressed that you resisted using the theme music from “Brokeback Mountain” as the soundtrack.

  5. Diane says:

He is very handsome. He reminds me of my Grandmother’s dog.

I didn’t realize how much I missed Honey Girl. She was a good dog. She took very good care of my Grandparents.

Thank you for sharing Scott with us. :-)

  6. carrie says:

OMG, my dogs do this all the time and i scream “no licking the cootchie!” My neighbor hates us. she asked if we minded if she put up a privacy fence.

  7. Eric says:

Thought you should know, an ad for a Catholic dating service came on google ads during this video…falloutofmychairhilarious

  8. HellZiggy says:

    @Tony Black
I loved that story about Chris & Scott too.

You’ve mentioned how people will mess with your Wikipedia page by giving you a brother you don’t have & stuff. Has anyone ever “fixed” it to talk about your days living in West Hollywood with Scott, your submissive gay boyfriend? I know I’ve been tempted…

p.s. Live Nerdist in Minneapolis please?

  9. Dave says:

What you don’t know is that Jesse had been thoroughly rubbed down in bacon grease moments before he came to visit. Scott isn’t gay, he just can’t resist the bacon grease. And honestly, can you blame him? I might lick a dog for some good bacon flavor.

I feel like we intruded on a very tender moment, like when you see an elderly person on their deathbed and their spouse that is dutifully caring for them sneaks them a kiss…touching but not meant for anyone to experience but them.

P.S. Grace, fetish to us, might be an everyday thing to them
P.P.S. Major points for the Heathers reference

  11. hilary says:

tears, so funny. kierstyn, you too, ty.

  12. joe says:

YES, A Heathers reference!! I LOVE IT!

  13. Grace says:

My housemate & I have two gay dogs that perform acts similar to the ones seen above. It’s nice to know they’re not alone in their fetishes. Sometimes this is foreplay to game we’ve dubbed “gay fight club.” It looks similar to lions fighting in the Sahara, only more loving.

  14. Tony Black says:

I still smile whenever I think about when it was just you and Scott living together and you were convinced your neighbors thought you and him were a gay couple from hearing you talking to him through the walls.

  15. Loquacious says:

My corgi would ignore all other dogs for the access to the food. Seriously…

  16. NicoleMarie says:

    Ass licking is gay now?

  17. Mulciber says:

If these fellas come here to NYC they can enjoy ice cream at the best new shop in town (, and then get married!

#1 Thank you for the NSFW warning.
#2 I’m just going to assume the new Design*Sponge book is your girlfriend’s and not yours.
#3 If it IS your book, you are still fabulous in my eyes.

  20. HellZiggy says:

Scott is adorable! I demand more pictures of Scott on the Nerdist site!

  21. Kierstyn says:

Jesse is one non-responsive dog. Aloof even. I’m betting that Scott could find a more supportive partner. It’s clear he is affectionate enough to find a more giving life-partner. Scott can do better – don’t settle!

Seriously, though? I’m amazed at how both dogs were completely ignoring the snack on the table. My little beggar of a dog would be sitting a polite distance away, in a respectful fashion… But her attention would be focused 50% on the food and 50% on the people eating the food, on the off chance that some should drop to the floor, or that some friendly soul might be cuted-into giving her some. Scott and Jesse were completely nonchalant about it all!

  22. Katie says:

Are you…why do you have so many plates full of cookies??

  23. Chris G says:

Is that the tongue that Scott uses to lick your face?

  24. Patti says:

Haha! That’s great. The music really makes it great.

  25. Gina says:

Cute – but I’m more impressed that you can food like that on the coffee table with 2 dogs around. 😉

  26. StevoLime says:

Gotta love the music with the video, it rocks, lol

  27. PaulH says:

Is the post title a play on the line from the movie “Heathers”?
