We love a bit of unexpected news to brighten up our day, don’t you? Like today, when Netflix announced that the third season of their political thriller, House of Cards, will return on the 27th of February, 2015. As in 3 months from now. The madman machinations of a political sociopath live on!
The February 27th return date that you are currently scheduling into your binge watch calendar as we speak was accompanied by a video message — one of those typically minimalistic but very telling snippets, like they did last year with season two. (Oh yeah — if you’ve somehow managed to not see that season AND go on with your life spoiler-free, we’d turn away now because this story’s about to drop some season finale super-spoilery knowledge on everyone.)
In this latest mini-tease, we find our deranged Mr. President (oh yeah, don’t forget that bit) and his First Lady en route to Air Force One and dreams — delusions? — of the power they possess over the whole of the free world. But not, of course, before giving ol’ F.U. over there gives a sly wink and a nod to the audience watching rapturously at home (that’s you and me!) through the window. Peeping Toms, all of us!

So anyway, House of Cards is returning, and soon. Be sure to keep an eye out for more of these as we await the word on poor, poor Doug Stamper.
What do you think will happen to Frank this season? Let us hear your theories in the comments.
