It’s finally here! The Walking Dead is back tonight at 9pm which means that Chris Hardwick will be back on the couch of Talking Dead at 10:30pm on AMC. You can expect lots of interesting insights from his guests executive producer and showrunner Scott Gimple, special effects master Greg Nicotero, and a special guest from the cast. You can submit your questions here before the show.
You can also catch Chris on @midnight with four new episodes this week. Steve Agee, Colin Hanks, and Megan Neuringer are the guests on Monday night. Tuesday night I’m told Kevin Smith, Mike Lawrence, and Ashley Barnhill will be there to play games and win. Our pals Riki Lindhome and Kate Micucci take on Michael Shannon on Wednesday. And the week will wrap up with Morgan Murphy, Dan Soder, and Big Jay Oakerson.
You can also look forward to three new episodes of the Nerdist Podcast and a Funcomfortable tour stop this week. Chris will be in Boise on Friday, October 16th. (You can buy tickets here.) Brett Gelman will be on the podcast with Chris and Matt, where they discuss culture alongside comedy—specifically the polarizing aspects of politics and the changing attitudes of comics. He’s followed up by a Zack Attack. Yes, the next guess of the week is Zack Morris himself, Mark-Paul Gosselaar. His new show Truth Be Told is on NBC, and it will be a big topic of conversation. The final guest of the week is Jonathan Kite, the very funny comic and actor behind Oleg on 2 Broke Girls. He brings underwear, theme restaurants, and stand-up to the conversation table so make sure you tune in.
Usually, I say make sure you’re following the Nerdist on Twitter, but as I’m sure you read this week, Chris has given his long-time moniker over to the company proper. Therefore, you should make sure you’re following him in his new-and-future handle @hardwick on Twitter and Instagram for up to the moment changes to his weekly plan.
