Hey hey nerds! It’s another Sunday night, and I have the lowdown on where you can find Chris Hardwick this week all together in a handy dandy little list.
First up, get excited – this isn’t this week but I’m so pumped about the return of The Walking Dead that I’m going to start telling you that it’s coming back on February 8th now. That means that Talking Dead will be back that night too! That first episode will start at a special time of 11:15pm instead of 10pm so that you can catch the premiere of Better Call Saul right after the new episode of The Walking Dead.
There are four new episodes in the pipeline for @midnight this week. Monday night we’ve got Ken Marino, John Gemberling and Tymberlee Hill taking the podiums by storm. Tuesday night will have Jim Norton, John Roy and Kurt Braunohler. Moshe Kasher, Michelle Wolf and Nikki Glaser will face off on Wednesday night. And finally, the week will wrap up on Thursday night with the Sklar Brothers and Matt Walsh.
Ok I’ve been burying the lead. This week also marks the FIVE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of the Nerdist Podcast. Tomorrow night, the sister wives and our fearless leader will take the stage at NerdMelt for a special Live Hostful event. The first podcast was recorded five years ago on Super Bowl Sunday, so you should probably go back and listen to it. Here’s a handy link. In addition to this very special event, Nick Kroll stops by to talk about the end of Comedy Central’s Kroll Show. It’s his 4th appearance on the podcast. Go listen to episodes 1, 2, and 3 to prepare. And the final guests of the week will be Nathan Willett and Matt Schwartz of Cold War Kids. Look forward to hearing about Superior Viaduct, a label doing cool things, and Mr. Belvedere from those guys.
As always, keep up with Chris’s comings and goings by following him on social media. He just got back from his first stops on the Funcomfortable tour and there are some great airport happenings for you on Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram. We’ll be back next week with more news.
