According to a quote from Alt-Press, Way said the song “is about a girl who falls in love with a reindeer… The reindeer thinks she’s pretty great too. They have adventures, they talk about life. The song is also about the magic sometimes hidden in the mundane.â€We’ve listened to “Dasher” about 200 times already, and yes, it is just as weird and magical as that description makes it sound.
