If I told you that “I wanna be the very best, like no one every was,” chances are you’d finish that off (either aloud or in your head) with the rest of the original Pokémon television show theme song. Couldn’t be any more appropriate for today, considering we’ve got some news on the upcoming 3DS remakes of the Gameboy Advance classic Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire. Also, if you’ve been looking to see how The Evil Within has been shaping up in the review column, stay tuned all the way to the end of this edition of Gaming Daily.
Time for some more Pokémon!
Pokémon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire hits stores on November 21, but we’d like to give you the heads up that the game will be available to try on the 3DS when it hits the eShop a month before on October 21. Nintendo also showed off the brand spanking new Mega Evolutions today, giving fans something to shed tears of excitement over in anticipation for the game’s full release. Been wanting to see Pidgeot in a brand new light? Check the video above to have your mind blown.
Dragon Age: Inquisition trailer shows off heroes.
The latest trailer for Dragon Age: Inquisition shows that Bioware isn’t afraid to stick to their golden formula: put the players in the shoes of a hero, make them lead a team or die trying. Some of the game’s ramblings about the protagonist being the chosen one, some very gorgeous visuals, and some dragons that are vicious-looking enough to make Khaleesi sing with happiness are all on display to get you ready for November 18.
The Evil Within scares its way onto the market.
Shinji Mikami officially makes his return to the survival horror scene today with The Evil Within. We played up to chapter 4 today during New Game+, and plan on having a lot more fun with the game on stream moving forward. On the review side of things, The Evil Within has been landing fairly mediocre scores. The game isn’t for everyone, and there are a few technical flaws, as we found out live on Twitch earlier.
