Know what’s a really fun thing to do? Take incredibly emotionally rich and game-changing moments from HBO’s epic fantasy series Game of Thrones and add completely silly, nonsensical, and inaccurate captions to frame them. Because messing with perception is fun, don’t you think? Especially after Sunday night’s “Mockingbird,” which found Westeros in an increasing state of flux, made all the more evident by the few deaths the series let fly (which we know makes you all very happy, fantasy fantasy league players) — through the Moon Door and otherwise.
Between Littlefinger and Lysa, Littlefinger and Sansa (it’s Littlefinger versus the world, we know), Tyrion and Jaime, and Tyrion and Bronn, there were plenty of wrongs that went down that night. Heck, even Dany betrayed Daario’s desire to go kill a bunch of masters in Yunkai after she got what she wanted out of him (bow chicka bow wow), and The Hound managed to stop killing people for 5 minutes to explain why his brother The Mountain was a childhood sociopathic face-burner and also the worst.
But we figured the night is already dark and full of terrors, so why not punctuate the insanity that we love so much with a few laughs, eh? Because if there’s anything The Realm needs, it’s a bit more fun at their expense (it’s OK — the Iron Bank can afford it). So we’ve added some completely inaccurate, nonsensical, silly, and out-of-context quotes to make you smile.
Think you can do better? Let’s hear ’em in the comments.
