Gal Gadot Shares WONDER WOMAN Behind-the-Scenes Video

Warner Bros’ long awaited big screen version of Wonder Woman, directed by Patty Jenkins and starring Gal Gadot as Princess Diana, continues to clean up at the box office, not just in the North America but all over the world. The fantastically reviewed film currently stands at $275 million dollars domestic, and had second largest third weekend ever for the studio, just behind the  The Dark Knight and ahead of  The Dark Knight Rises. It has a good shot at hitting $350-400 million when all is said and done–not bad, I’d say, for a movie the studio has been terrified to make for the past 15 years.

As a thank you to the fans who have been lining up to see Wonder Woman multiple times over the past couple of weeks–and no doubt as a preview for the special features of the eventual Blu-ray of the film–Gal Got released a special behind-the-scenes video from the making of the film via her Instagram account. In the video, Jenkins talks about how she’s been a huge fan of the character since she was a small child, and Gadot gushes about her director and their special rapport while making the movie together. We hardcore Wonder Woman fans had to wait a very long time to see our #1 hero on the big screen, but as the saying goes, “good things come to those who wait.” Waiting this long to make a Wonder Woman film till all the right ingredients came together proved to be the best thing that could have happened, and now we have a new superhero movie classic that stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the likes of Superman: The Movie, The Avengers, and others great movies in the genre.
