FORCE GREY Episode 6: Grab Your Dragon

Last week, Force Grey: Giant Hunters served up a reminder that anyone can get killed off in a Dungeons & Dragons game, even if they’re the founder of our site!

Yes, it’s true. Chris Hardwick‘s elf wizard, Whil Wee-Tawn, is dead and gone. Now the party has to continue its exploration through the mage’s lair just as the next battle is about to begin! But can they defeat two magical creatures without their wizard?

Force Grey: Giant Hunters is an eight-part series based on the upcoming D&D adventure, Storm King’s Thunder with Critical Role‘s Matt Mercer as the DM alongside our lineup of featured players:

  • Ashley Johnson (Blindspot) as Dagny Halvor, a half-orc cleric who builds all manner of tiny clockwork automatons.
  • Jonah Ray (Mystery Science Theater 3000) as Joppa, a human monk with a deep-seated passion for fishing.
  • Shelby Fero (Robot Chicken) as Brawlwin Chainminer, a dwarf fighter with “a floating shield and a crippling fear of heights.”
  • Utkarsh Ambudkar (The Mindy Project) as Hitch, a human rogue who always has a joke at the ready.
  • Brian Posehn (The Sarah Silverman Program) as Calliope, a beautiful female half-elf who spent decades as a statue.

You can watch Force Grey: Giant Hunters episode one here, episode two here, episode three here, episode four here, and episode five here. And if you want to star in your own adventure in Wizards of the Coast’s Storm King’s Thunder, it’s coming out this fall.

Force Grey: Giant Hunters will be back next Monday, August 22 with a brand new episode, and it will conclude on Monday, August 29 with its eighth episode.

What did you think of episode six? And what awaits our band of adventurers in the mage’s lair? Share your theories in the comment section below!!
