The lead-up for the first, pre-costume bit was okay, but once he got suited up it was gold. As for the gun issue – yeah, that’s what he did in WWII. He stopped carrying when he was unthawed in modern times, but he was an American soldier at war, so he carried a gun. In the current continuity, Steve Rogers retired as Cap and his former partner Bucky took up the role – and he carries and uses guns. Perhaps Joe Johnston has finally found a project that will bring out his true directing talents. “The Wolfman” was a sad failure.
