Mmmm, Paul Reiser/Steve Guttenberg confusion… I wonder why that doesn’t happen more often. Pretty funny. :)

  2. Filberson says:

The funniest podcast available, assuming there are funnier unavailable podcasts. If not, the funniest podcast in the history and future of pocasts and podcasting.

  3. monicatastic says:

Scott Mosier without Kevin Smith? Thank you! (I’m a Kevin Smith fan but sometimes I think he takes away from my joy of Scott and have found myself avoiding Smodcast because of it.) I think both Matt and Scott make for an interesting listen, good times!

  4. SUZBOT says:

YA!! THIS IS AWESOME!! PLEASE DONT STOP!!

  5. sybarite says:

I really like Matt’s Keanu moment. “If we could get Mel Gibson on?” “Yeah.” “Whoa.” Keep going guys. =)

  6. jesse says:

Fucking loved it. When I saw mosier had a new. Podcast with mira. I prepared for a combination

  7. Bo Dixen Pedersen says:

Been looking forward to this podcast since I heard about it both on nerdist and smodcast.

  8. Rhas says:

Great show. Loved it. FEaB makes me feel nostalgic for sober Smodcasts.

  9. FUCK YES! I was waiting for this. It’s the Reese’s Peanutbutter Cups of podcasts. I dunno who’s gonna be chocolate and who’s the peanut butter but it’s gonna be an awkward conversation on who is in who.

  10. Tom says:

So THIS is what Matt would sound like if he got to finish his stories and interesting trivia without Jonah telling him to shut up! Great podcast.

  11. Lee Lee says:

Loved the new show. I think the whole idea of you two getting to know one another is a perfect ‘thing’ for an entertaining. The hypotheticals were fun too! Maybe you can get people to tweet you similar questions and the two of you answer them? I dunno. Or just keep being as awesome as you are. It’s up to you guys :) Either way, I’ll be listening.

  12. Amanda says:

Ohhh, I’ve been waiting for this to go up since we’ve been hearing about it on the Nerdist Podcast for a little while. So excited!!! (as you can see from my use of THREE exclamation marks)

  13. Guest says:

junesongprovider, Matt did mention it on a Hostful a week or two back. It’s not COMPLETELY from left-field.

  14. Athra says:

Hey Matt!! Down in Colombia there’s a chain of fried chicken restaurants called “Frisby” and their schtick is to serve little packets of honey to pour onto the fried chicken. I was three months into a diet and I lost my way… Fat Kids for life!!!!

  15. tabby says:

i think this is an awsome podcast family mash-up!

  16. Tiffany Scott says:

I enjoyed the podcast. It was fun listening to you guys and getting to know a little more about how your brains work. Keep up the good work. I look forward to the next one.

  17. Rob B says:

I think you should start the podcast by saying “What up, my FEaBbles!”

Or, perhaps you should change the name of the podcast to “The Tablebangers”.

  18. Steven H. says:

    Glad to finally hear this.

  19. junesongprovider says:

Don’t give me your snark Roger. I was typing as I was listening and was confused (and so was the only other person who was here at the time). You know full well illumination didnt mean enlightenment or some shit, it meant understanding what the thing was I was listening to. And I obviously did give it more than 30 seconds, I was just a little thrown that this thing I already was perplexed by spent a full minute at the top of the show with things that were incomprehensible to a non-smodcast fan. I was also being a little facetious, which granted probably doesn’t come through. I was really just trying to be helpful, and it came across like nerd rage apparently.

And now I realize I am getting bent out of shape over a comment that was extremely mildly snarky at worst, so I will graciously duck out.

  20. tedder says:

NERD RAGE! Thanks for fixing, Mr. Simon.

  21. I think the logo is beautifully self-explanatory. FEaB stands for “Four Eyes” (that would be Matt) “and Beardy” (that would be Scott.)

The first 30 seconds of the podcast were not illuminating, I agree. Good thing I don’t listen to podcasts for illumination. Also a good thing I give them more than 30 seconds of attention. Scott and Matt don’t quite know what FEaB is yet, but they are funny and I am always interested to learn more about our good buddy Cannonball :-)

Keep up the good work, guys…I’ll be listening anyway.

  22. junesongprovider says:

Now I feel like a jerk

  23. junesongprovider says:

Thank you Perry. I’m sorry for the digital caps lock screaming. I just assume that I will never be seen or heard on a comments page.

  24. junesongprovider says:

NERDIST FOLKS: THIS IS SUPER CONFUSING FOR A GENERAL AUDIENCE. YOU MAY WANT TO TITLE THE SHOW FEED “FOUR EYES AND A BEARD” INSTEAD OF FEAB WITH ZERO DESCRIPTION.

  25. It’s in the description on the podcast page. We have what the SMODcast post has, too- they have no description at all. But I’ll copy over the description to this post- see? Service!

  26. junesongprovider says:

CLARIFICATION: FEaB = Four Eyes and a Beard

features Matt Mira and Scott Mosier from smodcast. This really should be in the first episode post. This was way confusing.

  27. junesongprovider says:

With no description, I had to start streaming, because I can’t not know what FEaB stands for. So, success on your part, Nerdist co. First 30 seconds have not been illuminating. All I ccan gather is that it is a smodcast show.

  28. tedder says:

First episode of a new podcast? No description of FEaB? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?
