One of the big trailers coming out of Comic-Con was our first real good look at Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. While we got a brief teaser last year, this new trailer actually gave us our first real idea of just why Batman hates Superman so much in next year’s upcoming blockbuster movie. During Superman’s battle in Metropolis with General Zod in Man of Steel, their fight took down a building owned by none other than billionaire Bruce Wayne. Almost as soon as the trailer was released, a fan made a GIF (which you can see below) comparing the shots from Man of Steel to those in the Batman V Superman trailer was released on the internet, showing the disastrous event from Bruce Wayne’s POV, and just how close Zack Snyder and company matched the events in the previous movie to the new one.
Now, another fan going by the YouTube username Long Rangel, has gone and outdone that, by making a his own fan-edit of the scene in Man of Steel and combining it with the shots of Bruce Wayne from the latest trailer. Now you’ve gotBatfleck watching from the street below in horror as his building collapses and runs into the destruction to save the life of a little girl. Sure, the fan edit takes a little poetic license, like when Superman looks down, and it looks as if he’s looking right at Bruce Wayne (he had more pressing concerns at that moment than getting into a stare-off with an innocent bystander on the street) but who cares really, it’s dramatic this way and totally works.
