Batman. Superman. Both powerful, capable dudes in costumes. They’ve fought alongside each other and against each other in the pages of comic books, and they’re going head to head in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The movie arrives in theaters today, March 25, and features all the punching and flying action you could want in a two-and-a-half-hour comic book movie. Yep, two and a half hours. In honor of the superheroes hitting each other in the face and other body parts, I’ve rounded up some fitting art for this week’s Fan Art Friday.
Since Batman and Supes have been around for a while, some of this art just happens to have the duo and predates the film. Some of it is directly inspired by Dawn of Justice, though, and features the characters in their new costumes and armor.
I’m not picking sides or anything, but I’m maybe Team Superman. Okay, I’m totally picking sides. Superman has incredible powers like heat vision and flight. Batman has his sharp mind and lots of gadgets. How is it a contest? Of course, Superman has weaknesses and if Batman figures those out, all bets are off.
Deploy your grappling hook and swing into the gallery below to see more fan art featuring Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman (a.k.a. the best part of the movie, in my opinion).
