Exclusive: DC Comics Unveils Five of Their Post-CONVERGENCE Titles For June

DC Comics has major plans for its line-up after the massive Convergence event hits in April, as the company sheds its “New 52” branding and does a line-wide “mini-relaunch” of most of their titles. Now, we have a sneak peek at some of the first offerings that the newly revamped DC has to offer fans, starting with the first week of June.

While the post Convergence line-up won’t be a reset to continuity like The New 52 was, DC is looking to introduce a new, fresh perspective to their stable of books, as well as all-new titles to reflect a more diverse approach. Among the first few titles out of the gate is Action Comics, which appear to have a throwback style Superman (check out that 1940s S-Shield) plus mega-popular Batverse books like Harley Quinn, Grayson, and Batgirl, which are undergoing a creative resurgence right now. Also among the first week’s books is villain-turned-anti-hero Sinestro, who is looking for a traitor from within his own Corps.

Here are the solicitations and covers for five of their titles, with the first hitting on June 3, 2015.

  1. ComeOnMan says:

ComeOnMan, he’s Superman not the Punisher. I haven’t seen anything this stupid since they put tits on the batsuit.  Stupid just act like Supergirl got balls and give a cup while you’re at it.

  2. Mike says:

    These new costumes suck!!!

  3. Mike says:

These post convergence costumes suck. I read a ton of bat titles and that bat costume is crap. I like the new 52 looks better.

  4. Pat says:

Batman’s new mech suit makes him look like some nightmare Pikachu

  5. Bryan A. says:

OK, I can deal with the buzz cut.  I can come to terms with short sleeves.  Jeans?  Nope.  Superman is not supposed to look like he’s auditioning for a Hardee’s commercial.   Give him back his boots and cape, please/

  6. Barbara Gordon says:

    Batgirl’s Frankie = Oracle

  7. Justin says:

No thanks. I’ll stick with Image.

  8. dave says:

Is that Ronnie from the Jersey shore or Clark Kent I can’t tell the difference

  9. klue says:

Grayson is easily one of the best things to come out of New 52. Glad they’re leaving it be. I miss Nightwing and it’ll be awesome when Dick inevitably returns to it, but  I’m enjoying this title just as much.

  10. Jay says:

Things like this are why I stopped buying comic books.

  11. cheppy says:

what the hell are they doing to superman? and what the hell did they do to batman!? did they make batman a robot? why is batman a bunny robot? and why is there a team of harleys? harley is homicidally nuts. completely bonkers! and now there are more of her? DC, have you lost your damn mind?!

  12. dalgoda says:

    Mecha Bat-Rabbit!

  13. Ryan Draga says:

“new batman” and “new superman” both look completely fucking ridiculous. Sinestro on the other hand, I’ll definitely check that out.

  14. ericmci says:

    Jeans Superman?  Again?!I’m out.

  15. borms says:

why do they keep insist on ruining superman’s look? the classic red-and-blue is what you want! and no cape?! and wtf is with the blood dripping from his fists? WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU, DC?!

  16. UkiyaSeed says:

    Look at that sexy Dick.

  17. Noah says:

    Yup! all of these, please!
