Everyone’s Favorite Mushroom Gets His Own Game — CAPTAIN TOAD: TREASURE TRACKER

The Mushroom Kingdom is getting a new lead in one of its smallest members, Captain Toad.

Nintendo revealed Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker during its E3 digital event today, showing a variety of puzzles for the treasure hunting Toad to solve. Captain Toad previously appeared in Super Mario 3D World and continues to explore the contained, isometric view levels in hopes of scoring loot. While there are numerous setbacks in his adventures, one of them being his difficulty with jumping, he can investigate the world in the first-person using the Wii U’s gamepad.

Take a look at some of the adventures he finds himself in with the trailer below:

It’s still mind-blowing to think that one of the littlest characters of the Nintendo universe is set up against a dragon!

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker releases exclusively for the Wii U.
