(Room 6DE)
I admit this freely: when I saw this season two episode when I was a kid, a wept a little bit. Get off me, I was like 12 and couldn't have been a bigger DC Comics fan. First of all, seeing the Flash in an animated TV show at all was pretty radical to me, but having the famous charity race between he and Superman reenacted to boot truly astonished me. I don't know for a fact, but I would bet this single episode is what made Bruce Timm realize a Justice League show could work.

This is a combination of actual show creation and a sort of improv game. It’s a take on how a show is created-all the elements you must consider, such as what age group it’s for, why the idea of it being about this or that would be too expensive, or why it can’t take place on water if it’s CGI. (Room 9)
10:00-11:00 a.m. Skybound Entertainment: Comics and Creators – Skybound Entertainment editor Jon Moisan discusses Skybound’s latest comics slate with some of their top creators, including Sean Mackiewicz (Skybound Entertainment editorial director, Gasolina), Donny Cates (Redneck, God Country), Chris Pasetto (Kill the Minotaur), Christian Cantamessa (Kill the Minotaur), and Brandon Thomas (Horizon). 10:00-11:30 a.m. Inside the Writers’ Room: From Script to Screen and Beyond – If writers’ rooms were like superhero teams, then this lineup would be the Justice League and The Avengers, here to offer an all-star insider’s look at your favorite TV series. The scribes behind some of today’s hottest genre shows share their candid thoughts on how to write, re-write, and actually produce the series you love (and sometimes loathe) in a special supersized session moderated by Sony Pictures Television’s executive senior VP of current programming and development, Chris Parnell. Find out the deep dark secrets (and low-calorie snacks) of the writers’ room-and what happens after your script hits the stage, why editing is considered the final rewrite, and what the alphabet soup of SVOD and OTT mean for the future of the medium you love. The lineup this year includes Ryan Condal (Colony), Gabrielle Stanton (Time After TimeThe Flash), Javier Grillo-Marxuach (The Dark Crystal: Age of ResistanceThe Middleman, Lost), Ashley E.
