Once Upon a Time kicked off season four last weekend, and we’ve finally learned the basics about the Frozen timeline. A brief summary: Anna (Elizabeth Lail) and Elsa’s (Georgina Haig) parents were on the way to the Enchanted Forest to learn about a possible cure for Elsa’s powers, Anna and Elsa find out about the quest, Anna goes off to the Enchanted Forest without telling Elsa, and Elsa goes after her. She was presumably searching for Anna when she was trapped, and now she has a hint that Anna may have been pulled over with everyone else because of the curse. Nothing comes between Elsa and her sister so I’m a little worried for everyone in Storybrooke right now.
Elsa’s upset about her sister, and she’s in a strange place. Her fear is taking over, and we all know how that ends. In the next episode of Once Upon a Time, titled “White Out,” Elsa and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) come face to face because Elsa accidentally traps herself and the Savior in an ice cave. Oops. The Snow Queen can withstand the freezing temperatures, but Emma doesn’t have her abilities.
Photos from the episode also show that we’ll spend some time visiting the Enchanted Forest in a flashback. Anna encounters David (Josh Dallas) before he was tapped into the ring to become a prince. The plucky Anna apparently gives David the help he needs to fight Bo Peep. You read that correctly. This Bo Peep is evil. Holy fairy tales, I can’t wait to see this.
