Every Destiny fan has a component in the game that they’re favorable of. For some, it is the cooperative gameplay of the strike missions. For others, it is the cut-throat competition of the Crucible. If you’re like me, then it is flying around electrocuting enemies like Emperor Palpatine on steroids with the new Warlock sub-class, Stormcaller. It seems one fan, though, has enough love for the hover bike item known as The Sparrow to decide to build one of his very own. Yesterday, Redditor Tehcuda posted the following picture of a home-made Sparrow to the r/gaming sub-reddit to show off the work of his buddy.
Through a little more digging in the comments on the post, it was revealed to be the work of Quantum Entanglement Props, a prop building and cosplay store created by a man named Zach. Zach and and his store have been a major seller on Etsy, with cosplay and props from the likes of Mass Effect, Firefly, and most-recently, Destiny. The Sparrow was a labor of love built to honor the game, as well as most likely to show off Zach’s skills, and was most recently on display at Salt Lake City Comic Con. It was featured prominently, as Zach and his company had a booth and held a panel on cosplay and prop building at the event. Be sure to check out the Quantum Entanglement Facebook page and Etsy shop for all of your sci-fi cosplay needs, and keep an eye out at future conventions to see if this little birdie flies on in.
What do you think is the next Destiny item Zach should build? Let us know in the comments below, or let him know over on Quantum Entanglement’s Facebook page.
