It’s been a long time since the first Zoolander movie, and since then, it looks like Derek has made a few upgrades with his living arrangements. His old apartment was cool, but his current one is downright massive. He showed off the new digs in an MTV Cribs-style video for Vogue, and there’s a lot going on.
The features of the space read like a description of a night club by Bill Hader’s Saturday Night Live character Stephon: two buff men pruning small trees, a fridge full of bottled water and carrots, and Zoe Kravitz. Vogue’s guy behind the camera also took the opportunity to ask Zoolander a bunch of questions–73 to be exact–and the answers are what we’ve come to expect from Derek.
His favorite look? “Looks are like children: there’s always one favorite. Right now, it’s called Bitcoin.”
His favorite color? “I don’t see race, but probably Chinese.”
What advice would he give to himself at 15 years old? “Apply blush to the apple of your cheeks; it’ll give them more depth. But we can’t go back in time… can we?
The video follows Zoolander’s first ever Vogue magazine cover, as he and Penelope Cruz front the February issue in promotion of the upcoming film Zoolander No. 2. The photos were taken by iconic photographer Annie Leibovitz and features the two emulating a few classic photo shoots.
Watch Zoolander’s guided tour of his place above, and let us know in the comments what your favorite part is. We’re assuming it’s the gym equipment, because there’s so much gym equipment.
