The Deadpool movie hasn’t even been out a month, but it’s already getting the How It Should Have Ended treatment. Of course, this means that there are huge spoilers for Deadpool in this video, so you should stop reading now and come back later if you still haven’t seen it!
Still with us? Cool. Now, near the climax of Deadpool, Wade Wilson’s sorta-girlfriend Vanessa was trapped in a containment tube before she fell 300 feet—and walked away remarkably unhurt from the experience. The big change in this HISHE video is that Wade failed to save Vanessa, who dies after her fall. Naturally, Wade blamed everyone but himself, with especially harsh feelings saved for Negasonic Teenage Warhead. And if we’re being honest, she really did make things worse for Wade and Vanessa when she caused the explosion that brought the fall to pass.
The HISHE team also sent Wade to the villains’ bar, where he tried to fit in with the other cinematic bad guys. However, Deadpool just wasn’t evil enough to be welcome there. Marvel can take the blame for that, as the company has spent the better part of two decades turning the former villain into one of its most popular characters.
And because there’s another superhero movie barely two weeks away, the HISHE video also sets up Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, as both Deadpool and Batman lash out at Superman for failing to save so many people in Man of Steel. Now, if only Deadpool could invade that movie as well…
And speaking of other super-things, why not check out all the Easter Eggs we found in Deadpool:
