It’s another weekend in the spring so that means it’s time for another convention. I’m taking this round off, but I’m sure many of you are attending Emerald City Comicon in Seattle. If you’re wearing cosplay at that or any other convention this year, keep an eye out for a cosplay lounge or a cosplay first aid station. The cosplay lounge is a secluded place for cosplayers to take a break, eat a sandwich, and/or catch their breath without having to worry about being asked for pictures. The first aid stations are just what they sound like and stock an assortment of items to help you repair any wardrobe mishaps. I’ve noticed more and more conventions are featuring these services, and I hope to see them become part of the normal offerings.
