Come See Me Tape a Show in NY Next Week!

New Yorkers! New York visitors! Comedy likers! Television taping enthusiasts! I’m shooting a pilot episode of a new comedy game show for Comedy Central next Thursday in NYC. Sometimes with pilot tapings for a show no one’s heard of yet, the audience is generally comprised of whatever carbon masses you can get to fill seats. But I want YOU  to populate the crowd. The show will be craploads of fun and if it goes to series, it will largely be because of you. So please drop whatever you’re doing net Thursday and come on out! I will thank you personally!

Darn me and my responsibilities of working at a convetional job with conventional hours!! Break a femur Hardwick!

  2. Danno says:

Tomorrow’s the big day. Are you nervous? I’m sure it will be ‘Amazing’!

    Break a leg!

  3. Bill Schmedlin says:

Oh this is just not fair. I actually got tickets. I planned to get out of work…. Aaaand then I get a message from the partner that we have a big meeting at 4:00 that day.

  4. DefconDan says:

Got my tix see ya there Hardwick

  5. Becca Gleason says:

This is definitely a solid reason to take off work. Right? I shall see you there! Just don’t tell my boss. :)

  6. Hannah says:

Aw man. Sadly, I’m no where near New York. But I’m still supporting you, and I will watch when it goes to air(which it will!). Chris, you need to come to Colorado it would make it complete :D.

  7. Meg says:

Chris! Thanks so much! Lookin forward to seeing you after the 2nd show, then! As well as when you’re hosting, of course! And when I said “bigger shindig than one of your stand-up shows” i didn’t mean to convey that your stand-up isn’t a big&important shindig either! (not that you’re taking it that way, i’m just a paranoid girl) Just thought there’s more people involved, so maybe you don’t have as much choice regarding how you greet the fans. And I have to stop with the exclamations/paranoia! haha Can’t wait and you’re always welcome :)

  8. Chris Hardwick says:

Meg! I will make it a point to say hello to folks after the show!

    Thanks for coming!

  9. adamj says:

awesome i just confirmed for the 2pm show!

  10. Meg says:

so excited to come, i had to post on twitter AND here!! i’ll rock it in the audience, promises! if you don’t post here, i was gonna ask you if you were around after the show for hellos. i assume maybe not, since this is a bigger shindig than one of your stand-up shows. but perhaps…i take you at your literal word up above! ha :) good luck and i’ll be watchin at the second show with one of my gal pals!

  11. deb says:

This is one time I am sorry I live on the opposite coast!
As long as it airs before I run out of funds for cable…or RENT…I will DEFINITELY be watching when it hits television!

  12. Brandon Delgado says:

Thank you anyway Chris. I E-mailed them about my problem. I hope they respond back soon!

  13. D. says:

Just confirmed my tickets, and stoked that the taping is close to my house.

    I’ll be there like shareware.

  14. Chris Hardwick says:

I dunno Brandon! Is there an email on there to ask them? It’s an outside company so I’m not sure about their policies on that. Hope it works out!

  15. Brandon Delgado says:

Hey, man. I just have a quick question. I know that the link says 18 or older, but, the problem is I am 14. So, if I had someone over 18 with me, would I be able to go?

  16. my-name-here says:

Well… if I didn’t have to buy an new axel for my car I would have considered taking the 5 hour trip for this. Sad day.

  17. Grace DeGuingois says:

I wish I could be there, but it’s a bit of a long journey for me. Comedy Central plus Chris Hardwick would be an amazing equation. Good luck!

  18. smartbunny says:

Darnit, I am going to Baltimore to see Mr. Douglas Benson on that day. Not that that’s a bad thing. Good luck with the taping, have fun!!

  19. DefconDan says:

Awesome Hardwick, I’m there… rather I’m in a Internets digital drawing drum with other applicants… hoping to be grabbed? Selected? Forced into a Tron-like Disc battle with some 12 yr – who will kick my ass?

Man .. contests are hard… on my imagination!

    K enough retardedness for tonight…

  20. Lol, this reminds me of an old SNL sketch where Jerry Seinfeld was running a game show, and contestants had to fill in the observational comic punchline “who are these people . . .” Worth a look.
