Chris Hardwick Joins the Cast of TALES FROM THE BORDERLANDS

We’ve got some big news that just crashed in like a Hyperion aerial assault from the wonderful folks at Telltale Games. We’ve just received an official confirmation that Chris Hardwick will be joining the cast of the upcoming series Tales from the Borderlands

vaughn v2

Chris joins the main cast as Vaughn, the best friend of Rhys (played by Sam Witwer), in a story that has the two Hyperion workers venturing to the desert world of Pandora in search of a mysterious vault key. The cast will also include the talents of other notable actors such as Nolan North, Patrick Warburton, and multiple members of the cast of the Borderlands series including Dameon Clarke (Handsome Jack).

The series is expected to premiere for download later this summer, and will be shown for the first time behind closed doors next week during E3. This is definitely great timing for this news, and on the same day as that jamming Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel trailer.

Oh, and while we’re on the subject of E3, we’re just getting the party started for all the gaming goodness set to take place over the course of the next week, so stay tuned to Nerdist.com for all the breaking news from the world of interactive entertainment.

UGH! Stop making new games telltale until you can actually produce your two biggest hits on a timely schedule. That company is spread so freakishly thin. But /hi5 to our fearless leader for the new gig.

That settles it. I’m buying the game.
