Chris Hardwick Invades Toronto February 9-11

Excuse me. Toronto? Yes, I’m talking to you. What? No, I know you can’t hear me. It’s figurative. Look, this is very important, so pay attention: Chris Hardwick is coming to your fair city for five — yes, five — shows over three nights at the Comedy Bar, 945 Bloor St. West.

Chris will be playing a 10 pm show on Thursday, February 9th, followed by two shows, 8 and 10 pm, on Friday and Saturday nights, February 10th and 11th. These are Chris’ standup shows, not podcasts. There will be laughs. And hugs. It will warm your heart.

Tickets? They’re on sale right now.  Click the date for which you’re interested and you’ll be whisked off to the site at which you may purchase entry:

Thursday, February 9th 10 pm
Friday, February 10th 8 pm
Friday, February 10th 10 pm
Saturday, February 11th 8 pm
Saturday, February 11th 10 pm

You really should be there, you know.

  1. Dano says:

Oh, wait, I’m going to the 10pm Friday show. Question (and excitement!) stands though…

Hope you get tickets @evtooms. Maybe some are available at the door…?

  2. @evtooms says:

If anyone is selling tickets for Saturday night please let me know. Just heard about the show and really want to go. Thanks. Drop me a line on twitter @evtooms

  3. Dano says:

Any chance that we’ll be able to get Chris to do a little book signing after the show? Either way, going to the Sat 10pm show and can’t wait!

  4. To Joe Smith re: the tweetup, it’s not exactly the same as a tweetup, but you’re welcome to hang out with me and my group of Who fans before the 10pm Saturday show if you want. I’m @EnthusiasmGrrl on Twitter or I just followed you on Tumblr, so drop me a line – we’re all cosplaying and I’m sure we’ll be going to dinner or the bar first. 😀

  5. Arryn says:

Hey guys, I checked at the bar and for anyone wondering if there is an age limit there is not. Although the material might not be appropriate all ages are welcome.
See everyone at the show! Best birthday present EVER.

  6. Philip Dobson says:

Hey, why did Chris’s G+ announcement of this show go away? is this still on? I bought tickets and booked the night off so I’m hoping this is still happening, but I just want to make sure.

  7. Joe Smith says:

I bought tickets for all 5 shows.
Does anyone want to have a Tweet-up on any of the days?

I was thinking of seeing Star Wars Episode 1 in 3D, but somebody mentioned bowling, I’d be up for that.

  8. Alex Wright (@wAlex) says:

Yes! Just bought tickets. Hopefully if the show goes really well and the crowd is good he’ll drag Matt and Jonah across the border again. I’m hoping they do Montreal for Just For Laughs again too.

  9. Me and my significant other picked up our tickets. We’re planning on cosplaying too! And based on conversations I’ve had, we may get a quite large group of Whoniverse cosplayers together who all want to come.

    So pumped!

  10. steve8282 says:

It is all ages, my 15 year old is stoked!!!

  11. Adamdraws says:

Awesome, gonna be there on the Sat 8pm show. Should be good times! Probably not going to happen because of the later show but I hope Chris sticks around to say hi.

  12. Garrick says:

Going to the late Sat show. Meet up anyone?
Also Sklar brothers two weeks later!!!
Comedy Bar is an awesome place to see comedy. I saw Doug Benson there last year.
    I can hardly wait.

  13. Maya says:

Excited! Definitely going to one of these. Going to have to rope some friends into it too, I’m the only comedy fan I know.

Maybe I just need some new friends.

  14. Anonymous says:

I was like “there’s a 9/11 in february now?” Then I read the rest of the article.

  15. Gaby Abed says:

Ticket bought! Welcome and bought a ticket to the evening show. Hope you enjoy toronto Big C!

  16. Chris says:

Nice to know you’re coming north of the border (in winter, mind you, I don’t think your Southern blood is going to like you for that), but I’m in calgary, so kinda far for me. You should try and do a Canada tour. Lots of great venues all through the great white North, eh!

  17. Nikki says:

Best. News. Ever. I’m so excited!!! Thank you Chris!! I’m surprised you’ve decided to visit in February a.k.a. during snow times. Pack warmly!

  18. Meaghan says:

*cries* why so far away?! I live in ON but 14hours away from T.O. Why is Canada so big? Can I bribe you to come to Thunder Bay? I have Persians… (look it up)

  19. Jonathan says:

Can’t wait for the show man! Already have my ticket! Wish Matt and Jonah could be there too! Feel like bowling afterward?

  20. kellybk says:

Now if we can just get a Podcast Night up here as well and I’ll be getting my 2012 Christmas wish early 🙂

  21. Erika says:

As soon as I saw these went on sale, it was easily the easiest decision to buy two. I’m really pumped for this!

  22. Jetouellet says:

Is there an age limit for these shows?

  23. Will says:

I live a couple hours away from Toronto (about 20 minutes from the border). I’m only 17, is there an age limit on the shows?
