Chris At Comic-Con: The Schedule

Hey, where’s Chris?

At San Diego Comic-Con, of course. He gets to do all the fun stuff. And fun you will have if you’re attending the show and attend all of Chris’ appearances. He’s all over this year’s show, so wear comfortable shoes with your costume and get ready to see our Fearless Leader at these events:

Thursday, July 21:

3 pm: Signing at G4 booth (#4249). Wristbands will be given out Thursday at 2p at the booth.

Friday, July 22:

11:15-12:15 am: Chris will be moderating the AMC Walking Dead panel. That will feature Robert Kirkman, Frank Darabont, Gale Ann Hurd, makeup artist/consulting producer Greg Nicotero, and cast members Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Sarah Wayne Callies, Laurie Holden, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, and Jeffrey DeMunn. That’s in Ballroom 20.

12:30-1:30 pm: Also in Ballroom 20, Chris will moderate a screening and Q&A for The Big Bang Theory. On the panel: Executive Producers Chuck Lorre, Bill Prady, and Steve Molaro and stars Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Mayim Bialik, and Melissa Rauch.

2:30-3:15 pm: Adult Swim’s doing a Black Dynamite panel, and who better to host that one than avowed fan Chris Hardwick? Nobody. And that’s why he’ll be joining the folks behind that epic, producer Carl Jones, director Scott Sanders, and stars Michael Jai White, Tommy Davidson, Kym Whitley, and Byron Minns. That’s in the Indigo Ballroom of the Hilton San Diego Nayfront.

Saturday, July 23:

Oh, you know what he’s doing Saturday. Nerdist Podcast Live, two shows, 8 pm sold out, 11 pm tickets available here. 4th and B, which is at, um, 4th and B. Really. First show features Matt Smith and Karen Gillan, second show features the Rifftrax guys — Michael J. Nelson, Kevin Murphy, and Bill Corbett — and G4’s Kevin Pereira.

Go to all of those things. Say hi to Chris. There’s a fairly good chance he will try to hug you. If he does, do not panic. He will only squeeze you harder if he senses fear.

  1. Jen K says:

Chris Hardwick gives good hug! We should start a Facebook group…

  2. Amalthea says:

As for the panels, most of the time, I’ve seen them on YouTube(depending on who’s recording it, quality & sound varies). Keep checking over the weekend for foottage. And good luck getting the hug, since we all know he’ll be uber-busy!!
I too have partaken of a Chris hug & they are wonderful!!

  3. Patti says:

Bunneh – I hope you get a chance to go. I can’t, because it’s to far away, but I highly recommend getting a hug from Chris. I have gotten one of those. <3

  4. Bunneh says:

I want to go JUST so I can get a hug from Chris Hardwick. And then propose to him.

  5. Gene says:

Does anybody know if there will be a “tweetup” for nerdist fans before or after the podcast recording? I figured this would be the place and time to do it.

  6. DaniDannyDanielle says:

    See you there Big C!

  7. @blah, @anncoultersadamsapple: To the best of my knowledge, the panels won’t be podcasted. They’re part of the formal Comic-Con schedule, so unless the Con itself arranges for panels to be recorded and sold, I don’t think they will be. Saturday night’s live shows, on the other hand, are intended as podcast episodes.

@Josh: I only know what Chris told me; if there are any official additions to the list, I’ll add them here. To the best of my knowledge, he’s not in the formal w00tstock lineup (although Mike Phirman is).

  8. anncoultersadamsapple says:

I was going to ask what @blah asked.

  9. Josh says:

Will Chris be at wootstock on Thursday?

  10. blah says:

are all the panels going to be podcasted at a later date?
