You can’t keep a good split personality down, no matter how hard you try. After over decade of waiting, everyone’s favorite unnamed narrator and his psychotic other half will return for a follow-up. That’s right, Project Mayhem is back in Fight Club 2, although this time it’s taking the form of a comic book. Written by Fight Club creator Chuck Palahnuik with art from superstar illustrator Cameron Stewart, Fight Club 2 is being unleashed on the world on May 27th.
Dark Horse Comics has released the first six pages to Playboy – we only read it for the comic book previews, we swear – and it’s clear that the tone, darkness, and humor we all love from the original Fight Club is intact. Stewart’s art is as slick as ever; it’s hard to not be pretty damn excited after seeing this stuff. There’s plenty of mystery, too, like the ominous “Rize or Die” written across the wall.
If you are ready for more Tyler Durden in your life, make sure you head out to your local comic store and preorder a copy of this bad boy. Just don’t talk about it. Seriously. That’s the first rule, guys. Everybody knows that.
