In a perfect alignment of stars and planets and stuff, the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival announced their 2015 comedy lineup on every puckster’s favorite day of the year: April Fools’ Day. However, the lineup was no joke. Our very own Chris Hardwick is on the list, as are many friends of the Nerdist family, and come early June we’ll get to see the fruits of their laugh-inducing labors.
Here’s who you have to look forward to if you happen to plan to be in Manchester, Tennessee this summer. Joining Hardwick will be pals Reggie Watts, Natasha Leggero, Ron Funches, Kurt Braunohler, Cameron Esposito, Jeff Ross, Moshe Kasher, Ralphie May, Nick Thune, Ian Edwards, Ari Shaffir, Big Jay Oakerson, Dan Soder, Jamie Lee, Matt McCarthy, and Mark Normand. We’ve been assured that this is not the final list, and that more names are bound to join these illustrious ones in the months to come.
If you want to do a little catch-up in preparation for what is sure to be a great couple days of comedy, music, and general celebration of the arts in Tennessee, you can find a number of these comedians as guests of the Nerdist Podcast in recent months (ok, sometimes years). You can also see some really hilarious moments on @midnight from a number of them as well, so make sure you check out the recaps we post here every week.
Chris has been back on the road with the Funcomfortable Tour this year so he’ll be in prime comedic shape for a great show on the Bonnaroo stage. Make sure you get your passes while you still can, and tell us who else you’d like to see at the festival in the comments below!
