Say goodbye to your free time because Blizzard announced Legion, World of Warcraft‘s sixth expansion, today at Gamescom. The expansion will throw players onto The Broken Isles–a continent that was mentioned in Warcraft III, but now it will be playable for the first time. This, of course, means that the evil warlock Gul’dan will return, and he’ll be up to even more mischief this time around. The story will pick up directly where Warlords of Draenor left off, with a little bit of backstory being given on some of the characters and classes highlighted in the expansion. The video below should give you a little more insight on where everything currently stands in WoW lore.
- The level cap has been increased to 110
- New dungeons and raids
- A New PvP Honor System
- A level boost to 100 for new players
- The now playable Demon Hunter class, which is equipped with a double jump and other advanced combat maneuvers.
- Class Order Halls
- New Artifact Weapons, with Ashbringer and Doomhammer both making returns.
