Is there a after show on air that Chris Hardwick doesn’t host? (And if there is, shhh, don’t tell him!) The talkin’ man with a plan—and our fearless and funny leaderdude—has managed to wrangle himself yet another AMC hosting gig, because, y’know, he wasn’t busy enough already! Adding to his “Talking” empire, Chris will host a two-episode installment of Talking Saul, a live Better Call Saul after show taking place after the season two premiere and finale.
The two episode installment of Talking Saul will air on Monday, February 15 and Monday, April 18 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT, respectively. And even cooler? The first episode’s guests will include series creators and executive producers Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould alongside Jimmy McGill himself, Bob Odenkirk.
In a press release from AMC, Joel Stillerman—the president of original programming and development for AMC and SundanceTV—explained that “The Talking franchise really started as a way to serve the fans by harnessing and providing a focal point for discussion around our original programming, and heading into its second season it’s clear Vince Gilligan, Peter Gould, and everyone associated with Better Call Saul have given rise to both a vibrant fan community and plenty to talk about. We are excited to have Chris Hardwick on board as host to engage the show’s dedicated and loyal fans – many of whom have followed the characters of Saul Goodman and Mike Ehrmantraut since Breaking Bad – in a meaningful and entertaining conversation around the series.”
We, for one, were already really, really excited for the return of Saul. But now that we know there’s an after show, too? We’re positively chomping at the bit for Monday’s arrival.
