April 2nd at 8pm- Pop and Politics with Jimmy Dore
Join Jimmy and a celebrity panel as they make fun of other celebrities, today’s news makers, and our favorite cultural jackasses, with a raucous blend of stand-up, sketch, and video clips of people saying some of the dumbest shit you’ve ever heard.

April 4th at 8pm- A Live Nerdist Podcast: Black Dynamite!
Joining Chris, Jonah and Matt will be Michael Jai White (“Black Dynamite”, co-writer), Byron Minns (“Bullhorn”, co-writer), Scott Sanders (director, co-writer), and Brian Ash (comic author, writer for The Boondocks) to chat about the making of one of the greatest Blaxploitation comedies of all time, and its extension into the comic world. Musical performance by the film’s score-master Andrian Younge and The Black Dynamite Sound Orchestra.

April 11th at 8pm- Adam WarRock Live: Comedy and Nerd Music
Adam WarRock is a nerd and geek emcee who raps about popular culture, comic books, and other geek topics. He’s bringing his brand of Silver Age Hip Hop to Nerdist Theater at Meltdown, where he’ll rap about Marvel and DC comics, Doctor Who, and other geek touchstones on the heels of his best-selling album, The War For Infinity, and the acclaimed Oni Press Mixtape. The show also features the stand-up comedy of Baron Vaughn, as featured on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham.

April 14th at 8pm- Celebrate the Release of Rob Schrab’s “But I Can’t Do Anything Else!”
This new book is a collection of concept part from Schrab’s many sci-fi, horror, and animation projects that never saw the light of day. Join the creator of Scud the Disposable Assassin, Monster House, and The Sarah Silverman Program for a night of comedy, art, and short films, featuring some of the coolest comedians on the planet. Hosted by Steve Agee and featuring Dan Harmon, Eric Acosta, Kumail Nanjiani, and Harris Wittels, with even more secret special guests!
April 16th at 8pm- We’re Alive- “In the Flesh”
Come join us for a live performance of Chapter 1 “It Begins” from the popular radio drama “We’re Alive- A Story of Survival in a Zombie Apocalypse”, followed by a Q&A panel hosted by Greg Miller from IGN and Brittney Brombacher from “We’re Not Dead”. Joining the WND hosts and actors from the series will be Kc Wayland (Writer and Director) and Shane Salk (Co-Creator and Producer).
