Well helloooooo! Welcome to the first of a batch of all new episodes of Awesomely Bad Movies, now exclusively on Nerdist.com!
To kick things off, have you ever wondered if Jennifer Lawrence‘s meteoric rise to the top would ever stop? Well, I did, but that wondering didn’t last long because she’s unarguably the best. Go on; try to argue. You can’t, can you? She did ALMOST have a crash and burn right when she started blowing up with the 2012 aimed-at-teens horror film, House at the End of the Street, a movie that really hopes its viewers haven’t seen Citizen Kane, Psycho, or really any other movie that has a twist ending. I’m gonna just spoil the whole movie in the video, so just be prepared to be underwhelmed.
As always, this show is written by me and directed and edited by Matthew Warren. Come back next week for another all-new episode of Awesomely Bad Movies and see which cinematic snoozefest I make fun of then! Let’s play a game to see who can guess it in the comments below. A hint: It stars a real guy’s guy who wishes he were more of a snake.
