Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan Get Silly Talking CIVIL WAR

If there’s one thing you can count on from Anthony Mackie, it’s an interesting interview. On the set of Captain America: Civil War he started ranting about how Chris Evans is insane for thinking that the Beatles are better than Earth, Wind & FireTwo years ago, at the Marvel Studios press line at Comic-Con, Mackie and Winter Soldier co-star Frank Grillo were walking down the line of reporters, systematically making falcon noises and dropping microphones. It was a glorious sight to behold. So it came as no surprise to me when our intrepid reporter, Amy Ratcliffe, went to interview the cast of Captain America: Civil War and came back with something deeply silly from Mackie and Sebastian Stan.

In a wide-ranging conversation, Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson/The Falcon) and Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier) talk about facial hair envy, the epic new additions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and they even take a moment to educate Amy about the NBA. (Seriously, regarding that last item, Mackie’s French accent has to be heard to be believed.) Then things take a turn and the actors begin interviewing Amy herself about, of all subjects, Star Wars: The Force Awakens. You’ll never guess what Sebastian Stan missed when he stepped out to use the restroom.

Captain America: Civil War opens on May 6, 2016. You can read our review right here.
