So far, Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy‘s American Horror Story has explored the creepy worlds and characters inside murder houses, asylums, covens, freak shows, and hotels. But rumor has it the next, sixth season will make our skin crawl while focusing on just one creepy individual: Slender Man.

And wouldn’t you know it, a source close to production has confirmed to Nerdist that the producers have been considering Slender Man for some time now. Which is to say: this rumor has legs – very, very tall, skinny legs. So what will American Horror Story’s take on Slender Man look like? And who from the show’s recurring cast might be a good fit for the internet’s favorite boogeyman?
