Alex Kingston Will Appear on GILMORE GIRLS (Sorry For the Spoilers, Sweeties)

We’ve always known River Song’s life was bigger on the inside, but we had no idea her world would also include Stars Hollow, Connecticut. (Because why would you go to Connecticut when you have a TARDIS? All of time and space and you end up in Fictional New England? Don’t worry, it’s cool I can say that I’m from there.) Well, apparently the Doctor Who star is making a quick pit stop at Luke’s Diner for a pot or two of coffee, as Alex Kingston herself has confirmed she will appear on the Netflix reboot of Gilmore Girls.

According to the video—that came to us by way of BuzzFeed‘s Jarett Wieselman—Kingston explains that she, “also got to play a role in the reboot of Gilmore Girls … I know they’ve released the information, but I don’t know how much we’re allowed to talk about. Our hearts are already buzzing with anticipation at the mere idea of Kingston’s attitude and sass absolutely owning Amy Sherman-Palladino’s bouncy, snarky, zippy dialogue. I MEAN AS IF WE WEREN’T ALREADY OUT OF OUR MINDS ABOUT THIS.

You can check out the whole interview below — she talks at length about our beloved Doctor Who, as well as Arrow and all the other million and two things she’s done in her impressive career:
